New in - makeup

Hi guys!

There's been a lot of great sales recently and I managed to find a few makeup products from one of our Pharmacies here in Sweden, Apotek Hjärtat. They had 50% off of their Apolosophy makeup range and I bought four products.

Apolosophy Powder "Sheer Transparant" Very light formula, feels a little bit blurring and almost have a cooling feeling on the skin.
Apolosophy Blush "Happy Pink" It's very pink and very pigmented so you don't need much. Beautiful and long wearing.
Apolosophy Bronzer "Dark Bronze" This is gorgeous! And even though it says "Dark bronze" I don't think it TOO dark, it's the perfect tan shade.
Apolosophy Foundation "Rosy Vanilla" It's surprisingly long lasting on me, usually all foundations except Estee Lauder Double Wear disappears on me. But this one from Apolosophy is really good. It has medium coverage amd feels light weight on the skin.

I really like these products and highly recommend them. Looking forward to try more of their products in the future.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

New in - Recent purchases

Hi guys!

Today I wanted to share some recent purchases I've made. These were from last year, I'd say November-December. Most of them were on sale. Black Friday and leading up to Christmas had some amazing discounts in store. This is what I found...

Clinique set with a mascara, liner and a eye cream (Only tried the eyecream - love it!)
Clean Skin (bought a backup)
Glam Glow Supermud (also a backup)
Dior Poison Girl EdT - smells lovely!
Tikei Mineral foundation P4 and Mineral Primer (backup) and a retractable brush.
Clinique Moisture surge Intense (Using the "normal" Moisture surge atm)
Clinique Pep start scrub cleanser (Haven't tried yet)
Real Madrid EdT - smells great!
Mini trio fragrances - Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, YSL Black Opium and Georgio Armani Si. (The Armani one is not a favourite, but I really like the other two)

Have you bought anything new lately? Or have you tried any of these products?

Beauty Favourites 2017

Hi guys!

It's time for beauty favourites 2017.

Let's start with skincare...

REN Clarimatte clarifying toner - This is amazing! Sadly I've used up mine and it's not easy to find where I live.
Bliss Micro Magic - This is the best scrub I've ever tried. I think it's discontinued though, because I haven't seen it in store for a long time.
Clinique Moisture surge moisturising supercharged concentrate - Amazing lightweight moisturiser. I use this alone or together with the "normal" moisture surge cream.
Clinique All about eyes - The best eye cream! This or the rich version.
GlamGlow Supermud - The best mud mask! Maybe the best mask of all...

Next is fragrance...

Juicy Couture "Viva la Juicy Sucré" - Oh how I love this scent! It's sweet and warm at the same time. And it's not over powering. It's a cupcake in a bottle!
Yves Saint Laurent "Black Opium Floral Shock" - This was love at first sniff! This fragrance is a bit stronger but it's also sweet and warm, but it has a better sillage.

Let's do makeup...

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation - I use Fresco and Pebble and I usually mix them togheter to get the perfect shade. This foundation is the only one that stays on all day on me.
Tikei Mineral Primer - This is my setting powder. It's amazing! It blurres the pores and mattifyes the shine. And it's not very expensive either.

And finally eye makeup...

Fleur de Force eyeshadows - I think this is in "Cosmic bronze". I love the shades as they are perfect for everyday use but you can also smoke it up if you want to.
H&M Eye pencil in Panther - When this sets it sets for real. It even stays put in the waterline on me and no other eye pencil has ever done that. So I highly recommend these.
Depend Triangular Eyebrow pencil in Taupe - I've only used this and the Anastasia Brow wiz this year and both are excellent. The Depend pencil is a little bit more creamy in consistency but it stays on all day without smudging!
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara - The best mascara I've tried this year and ever, I think.

What are your beauty favourites this year?

Happy New Year - see you in 2018!

Empty products #10

Hey guys!

It's almost the end of the year and I thought I'd empty my beauty trash and share it with you all.
Some of these I've had before and if I've written about them before I'm going to just mention if I like the product or not. Here we go...

Let's start with hair and body!

Redken Extreme shampoo x2 - Great! Lovely scent!
Sunsilk Smooth & Shiny conditioner - Ok budget buy.
The Body Shop Olive shower gel - Massive bottle and I loved this!
Rexona biorythm deodorant - The best!
Make Up Store Twenty Forever body butter - Love love love this! Creamy formula but not too greasy. The scent is heavenly! I have back ups of this, but sadly it's discontinued.
The Body Shop Strawberry body butter - Love this! A bit thicker in consistensy but not too much, lovely scent too!
The Body Shop Strawberry shower gel - Lovely! I love their shower gels and the strawberry scent is awesome.

Next, skincare...

Shiseido Bio-performance eye cream - Ok, but too expensive for what it does. This was just a sample.
Biotherm Aquasource gel cream - Very light cream, I liked this for my oily skin.
KICKS Vitamin C Peeling pads - They were ok, but I didn't see any major difference in my skin after using these. Nice fresh scent.
REN Clarimatte Clarifying toner - I love this toner! Sadly it's very expensive and also very difficult to get hold of. But I will hunt it down at some piont.
BASIDERM Oil Control Daily moisturizer - It wasn't bad but I thought this was too much for my oily skin. My skin was greasy everytime I used this, but I did use it up.
Yves Rocher Eye cream - Lightweight cream. I liked it and it was great under makeup. Have repurchased it.
Dermalogica Clear Start Emergency Spot Fix - Ok product, but don't think I'll buy again.

And lastly makeup..

Lumene CC cream in Light & Medium - Ok everyday foundation. However it didn't last very long on my oily skin. If you have dry skin I'm pretty sure you'd like these.
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara - This is amazing! I think it's the best mascara I've tried so far. It lenghtens and gives great volume and is very very black. It stays on all day without any smudging so I'd highly recommend it. Washes of pretty easily with warm water too.
Depend Nail polish remover - The best! Not a fan of the smell though, but it gets even glitter polish off so yeah, great product!
Essie Good To Go top coat - Great!!
Tikei Mineral Primer - Amazing!! I use this as my setting powder and it's the best I've tried. It blurres pores and keeps shine away. Maybe not ALL day long, but almost. Already started a new one and just got another backup.
Loreal Dream Lumi touch - concealer/highlighter that was ok but no favourite.
Anastasia Brow wiz - Loved this! Thin brow pencil that stays on all day. It's expensive but great. All writing has rubbed off so have no idea what shade this was.

That's all folks! What have you used up lately?

Recent purchases / New in beauty

Hey guys!

Today I thought I'd share a few new things I've bought the last few weeks (months on a couple)

TiKei Mineral primer - Repurchase. I use this as my setting powder and it's great!
H&M Colour Essence eye pencil "Into the blue" - I wanted a dark blue pencil and I love the formula of the H&M ones. Stays put all day even in the waterline.
Juicy Couture "Viva la juicy Glacé" - The cutest bottle ever! And the scent is lovely and sweet too.
Isadora Light & Shade eye shadow "Khaki blues" - I haven't really used this yet, but Isadora shadows are usually pretty good.
Juicy Couture "Viva la juicy Fleur" - I bought this during a 50% off sale a few months back and I really like it. It's a fresh floral scent.
Real Techniques "Blush brush" - The brush with this print I think was limited with the book or DVD Pixiwoo released a while back. This one was sold seperately though.
Kicks Dip Brow "Dark Blonde" - Haven't tried this one yet.
Juicy Couture "Viva la juicy Sucré" - I LOVE this scent. Sweet and vanilla cupcake, can't go wrong.
Clinique "Moisture surge" - I've only tried a sample of this and liked it a lot. Using up something else before I start this.
Clinique "Moisture surge hydrating supercharge concentrate" - Just got this and haven't tried it yet.
The Body Shop "Banana conditioner" - Heard a lot of good things about this. Haven't tried it yet, using up something else first.

Have you tried any of these products?

Summer / August favourites

Hi guys!

I know I haven't done a favourites post before but I thought today I would share what I've been loving thruough August, and for most of the summer really.

Mostly makeup but also a few skincare items and a perfume. This is my thoughts...

Juicy Couture "Viva La Juicy Sucré" - This is such a sweet and cosy scent. It's soft but I think it stays on for several hours on me. I bought the 100 ml bottle, that's how much I love it.

REN "Clarifying toner" - I had used this before and stopped for some reason, probably because I was trying something else. But recently I've had some issues with breakouts and I started using this again and though it's not solved the issue completely it's definitely looking better. I'm thinking my skin likes the acids in this..

Clinique "Take the day off balm" - I was curious to try this as I've heard Caroline Hirons talking about it (before she released her own balm cleanser) and it's really good. Takes off all of my makeup, except for my mascara weirdly enough. But I don't mind using something else for that.

Tikei "Mineral Primer" - I rediscovered this in my stash when I needed a good powder during this summer. It's really porefilling and keeps my foundation in place and looking matte. This is something I struggle with during summer as my skin is super oily. But this helped a lot!

Estee Lauder "Double Wear foundation in Fresco" - This is the best foundation I've ever tried. It stays in place all day and it's not heavy on the skin. I do get some shine come thru at the end of the day but at least it doesn't move. I think I might need a darker shade though, as this looks a bit too light sometimes.

Urban Decay "Eyeshadow Primer Potion" - I haven't tried a lot of eyelid primers but this really does hold your shadows in place. I don't feel the need to try something else as this is such a great product!

The Body Shop "Honey Bronzer in no 2" - Great bronzer, not too pigmented but gives just enough colour to your face.

Maybelline "Lash Sensational mascara" - This is brilliant. Gives my lashes a lot of volume, and some lenght too. This is the mascara the Clinique balm won't take off, but the majority of it washes easily off with just warm water..

Loreal "Brow Artist Plumper in brown" - If you just want to brush through your brows with a little tint this is great. Gives colour but not too much. I usually use a pencil as well as my brows are a bit sparse..

Depend "Eyebrow pencil in Taupe" - This is the perfect ashy shade for me. The formula is creamy but not too much, it stays on all day. Very easy to work with.

MAC "Dervish lip pencil" - The perfect "My lips but better" shade. Love it! It's quite a hard pencil so I usually wear some sort of balm or gloss on my lips and put this on top. Perfect!

Have you tried any of these products? Thoughts? What have been your favourites through summer?
